• Monday, May 19, 2007 Save the Date! for the Thirteenth Annual Seton Scramble for Kids, a golf benefit for St. Elizabeth Seton School. • 1st & 3rd Wednesdays in May & June, 2008 Transitions Support Group meets at 7:30 pm in the Pastoral Center (3290 Middlefield Rd).  This is a support group for those undergoing the transition from couple-hood to single-hood.  We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday in a confidential and safe setting.  The meetings are unstructured and informal.  If you or someone you know has suffered the breakup of a marriage or significant relationship, this group may be helpful.  Contact Randy Jones, 408.739.2881 for more information.

• October 28 - November 7, 2008: BEST OF GREECE & THE GREEK ISLES.  After the success of the Shrines of Italy tour last November, another trip is planned.  This will be an 11 day tour in the steps of St. Paul.  It will cover Athens, Corinth, Rhodes, Ephesus, Patmos, Delphi, Kalambaka and Thessaloniki.  We will be limited to only 40 participants.  If you are interested, please call the parish office on 650.494.2496 and ask for a brochure.  Preceding departure, there is a plan to have a four to six week Scripture study on the letters of St. Paul.  It is hoped you can join us for the tour, the study, or both!

• Saturday, April 26, 2006: Spring Dance: 8:00-11:00 pm.  Near, far, wherever you were, the Age of Aquinas Spring Dance went on!  We danced to the tunes of Songs by Dave -- back for a return engagement.  Once more we opened the door, and there you were in the heart of it.
  Cost: Still only $10.00! Snacks and beverages were provided.

• Saturday, March 15, 2008: St. Patrick's Day Party!!  No one was "Irish Missed"!!  Ticket sales began three weeks ago for the annual St. Patrick’s Day legacy celebration of Irish music, Celtic dancing, sing-along, and the best corned beef this side of The Emerald Isle!  The evening convened at St. Elizabeth Seton School Auditorium, 1095 Channing Ave., from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  Ticket prices: $15 - adults, $5 - children.  As usual it was a sellout!  Volunteers were plentiful! • Sunday, March 9, 2008: Burning Bush: Catholicism's Myths, Confusions and Trivia  Our next Burning Bush session will be held at Our Lady of Rosary from 3:00 pm -5:00 pm.  Fr. George will facilitate an exploration of our faith's myths, confusions and trivia.  It should be an interesting afternoon as we share and discuss our faith.  Bring your favorite myth, confusion or trivium to share!

• Saturday, February 16, 2008: Volunteer Recognition Reception  In appreciation for all that parish volunteers do throught the year, Fr George, Fr Tony and the parish staff invite all volunteers and their guests to a reception at SESS auditorium following the 5:00 Mass.  Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be provided.  Volunteers are asked to sign up for the event by calling the office of the volunteer coordinator, 650.494.2496 ext 15, and leaving a voice mail with their name and the number of people in their party who will be attending.  This phone registration will continue until Saturday, January 19.

• Tuesday, February 5, 2008: Mardi Gras Fish Fry - 6 pm.  The Knights of Columbus and SOUP will be sponsoring a Mardi Gras Fish Fry at the OLR Church Hall.  The fun starts at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served at 7:00.  There will be a prize for the best mask or costume.  Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at Mass on Sunday, February 3 or by calling 650.494.3572.
  
  
• Sunday, January 27 - Saturday, February 2, 2008: Catholic Schools Week.  You are invited to St. Elizabeth Seton School’s School Mass on Monday, January 28, 2008.  Mass will be at 9:15 am at St. Albert’s.  We will have an Open House on Thursday, January 31.  Parents are welcome to visit the classrooms from 8:00 am to 10:30 am Some of the activities during Catholic Schools Week include: Fruit baskets and thank you notes delivered to community service organizations, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, Religious Appreciation Day, Cultural Appreciation Day, Community Day, Parent Appreciation Day, and Student Appreciation Day.  Color Day, movies, games and special treats.  Science Fair on Thursday January 31st, 2008 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.
