Mission Statement:

Work to ensure that every liturgical celebration within the parish is planned well and presented so that these liturgies are a source of spiritual strength, inspiration and hope for all participants.

Our work is guided by the liturgical guidelines as stated in the General Instructions of the Roman Missal (GIRM), diocesan directives and other liturgical documents of the Church which are provided to parish liturgical teams for use in planning parish liturgical celebrations.

Recent Activities:

1.       On-going work to encourage new ministers: Lectors, Eucharistic ministers, musicians, etc.

2.       Worked with Rob Manfrey, parish Youth Director, on planning for the new Youth Mass, the first Saturday of each month at St. Albert the Great.

3.       Created a framework for on-going training of lectors (including both spiritual formation and the practicalities of proclaiming the Word)  which will be put into place in the fall.

4.       Reviewed parish worship aids (hymnals, missalettes) and ordered worship aids for the new liturgical year.

5.       Arranged for and conducted formation sessions in June for all liturgical ministers.
