OLR Site/Liturgy Committee Profile

Mission: To help plan and provide informed lay ministers for quality liturgies

at the OLR site, including daily, Sunday Masses and special

liturgical celebrations throughout the year. Ongoing and specific

site needs are identified and addressed by this committee.

Activiites:

1. Recruit, help train, schedule and organize lay ministers for OLR weekly site liturgies and some all-parish celebrations. These lay ministers include greeters, lectors, hospitality ministers, commentators, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, environment ministers, and Welcome Table volunteers.

b. Prepare schedules for Sunday Mass ministers and mail these schedules

to ministers every three months. The ministers who are scheduled

weekly include greeters, lectors, commentators, Bread and Precious

Blood ministers, environment team and hospitality team.

Meetings:

Four or five times/year to plan for the changes in the Church season, and also when there is a special site project, such as the installation last year of the carpet.
